Safe and Spectacular Springtime

This spring, know what warning signs to watch for.

It is a great time to enjoy the wonderful outdoors, just keep in mind

every season has potential dangers for our furry friends.

Fleas and ticks can be more prevalent in the spring and summer months,

and with your pet being outside more they are more likely to pick up these parasites.

Plants and flowers are beautiful this time of year, but check before

you garden. Many flowers and plants can be poison or deadly. Lillies, orchids and daffodils are a few

plant that are known toxins for pets and some mulches are very dangerous.

Allergies often arrive in the spring season. Pets can have seasonal allergies that cause itching,

skin irritation and hair loss. If you see your pet scratching, give us a call-

it could be more than just an itch. Watch closely for bee stings or bug bites these can also cause

 major allergic reactions.

Spending some extra time to make sure your pet steers clear of danger in nice weather will keep

your pet safe and happy and save you time and worry.

    Enjoy the season!
